BrandWitness wasn't built to sell a tool. It was built because we had a problem to solve for ourselves first.
How it started
Since 2022, we scrape. For our own needs first: prospecting, competitive monitoring, market research. Whatever the project required, the answer was usually the same: go get the data ourselves.
The result, after a few years, was a mess we know well: thousands of CSV and Excel files, scattered across drives and inboxes, never really connected to anything useful. No real CRM, no single view, no way to reuse what we'd already collected.
Why BrandWitness exists
BrandWitness came out of that exact frustration. We ended up industrialising what we were already doing for ourselves, and decided to offer it to others instead of keeping it in-house.
Some of what we built along the way already exists as standalone tools, including an ad-management product (Centrads) that our team also runs. BrandWitness packages that same experience into a single place: describe what you need, we track it for you in a dashboard, no more scattered files. If you just want the list, export it in one click.
What we're actually trying to do
Our goal is simple: help you get more clients. Every product we offer, and every one we'll build next, exists for that single reason: make it easier for other people to run their business, and help them make more money doing it.
What we won't pretend
We only collect publicly accessible data, for B2B use, respecting GDPR and each platform's terms of use. We don't have thousands of customers yet, and we won't invent testimonials to suggest otherwise. What we have is years of doing this for ourselves, and a habit of saying what we don't do.
